LaRouche Warns of Netanyahu Terror Attacks

Over the last week, a number of leading US and Israeli intelligence and national security specialists warned that Benjamin Netanyahu, currently a candidate for prime minister of Israel, could orchestrate a terrorist attack such as a car bombing inside Israel this month, to boost his chances of winning the March 28 election. Lyndon LaRouche issued a preemptive warning that these concerns are very credible: "If any such terrorist attack occurs, if anything goes wrong between now and the Israeli elections at the end of the month, I will know that Bibi Netanyahu, Dick Cheney, George Shultz, and their British partners are to blame."

Following the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin in 1996, his "partner in peace" and Labor Party successor as prime minister, Shimon Peres, looked certain to win the next election. However, a series of deadly terror attacks panicked the Israeli electorate and gave the election to the extreme right-wing fanatic, Netanyahu, the son of the former private secretary to Vladimir "Zev" Jabotinsky, the leading Jewish fascist of the 1930s-1940s. Shultz, Dick Cheney and their neocon associates are attempting to launch a military strike against Iran under the pretext of "stopping Iran's drive for nuclear weapons"-the same line they used to launch the Iraq war. If they are not able to launch it from the U.S. because of Cheney's weakening influence, they intend to use their puppet Netanyahu to do so. But, he has to win the Israeli election first.
